He has performed in all six of the joint productions with the Phoenix Symphony, a delight and honor. He has appeared in many commercials, has been seen on PBS, and also performed nationally in various musical comedies. Chris is a four-time AriZoni award winner, including best lead actor in I love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.
Most recently, Chris was seen in hit production of Elf: The Musical as Walter Hobbs. Is glad to be returning to The Phoenix Theater Company to be a part of this wonderful new piece, Americano!, and is proud to be a part of each step of its evolution over the past years. Johanna is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association. She holds a BA in Vocal Performance from Cornell College. The Phoenix Theatre Company Credits include: Abuela Claudia – In The Heights, Mayor/Ma – The Toxic Avenger, Katie Nana/Mrs Correy/Miss Andrew – Mary Poppins, Martha – White Christmas, Mazeppa – Gypsy, Effy – Spitfire Grill, Sarraghina- Nine, Carmen in Curtains and numerous characters in the world premiere of All The More To Love. Is excited to be returning to The Phoenix Theatre Company stage in the world premiere of Americano! She has also been an active member of The Phoenix Theatre Company Festival of New American Theatre over the years where she has acted in and directed pieces.
